Q6. I Have Seen the Same Registration Number For Sale on Several Different Websites.

As number plate dealers we offer more than just our own registration numbers. If David Brown owns 96 DB he may ask several number plate dealers, including Simply Registrations to advertise 96 DB and try to find a buyer for his number plate.

Q7. Why Are Some Registrations plus V.A.T.?

It depends who actually owns the registration. The majority of our company owned registration numbers are plus v.a.t. because we are a v.a.t. registered business. If you want to buy a personalised registration that we are offering on behalf of a client or private individual, it probably will not be subject to v.a.t.

Q8. What is the Difference between a Private Number Plate and a Personalised Number Plate?

There are several official terms used by the DVLA. The combination of letters and numbers is either called a registration, registration mark or vehicle registration number. Attractive combinations are called personalised registrations or cherished registrations. The part that is attached to your vehicle is called a number plate. Alternative names include personalised number plates, private number plates or cherished numbers.
